Strengthening the Capacity of Managers
The German-Irish Chamber, together with its partners in Germany, Norway and Spain, is running the project "Strengthening the Capacity of Managers" funded by the European Commission´s Lifelong Learning Programme.
Managers are an essential component of the health workforce. Good management is essential for quality service delivery and achieving desired health outcomes. The European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programme enables people at all stages of their lives to take part in stimulating learning experiences, as well as helping to develop the education and training sector across Europe.
The aim of the project is to provide Irish-based graduates and employees with the opportunity to spend 2 weeks working at a company in Germany, Spain or Norway to practise their foreign language skills in a business environment and gain introductory first-hand knowledge of country-specific business culture.
Criteria for suitable applicants: language skills; proven interest in chosen language;commitment to the placement; ability to illustrate how the placement will improve their current situation;motivated and enthusiastic and good communication skills.
