Paid traineeship at the European Medicines Agency


European Medicines Agency offers paid traineeships to EU students that can speak at least two European languages. The traineeships is aimed for university graduates in Medicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology, Life Sciences or Law and will take place in London.

Every year, the European Medicines Agency  offers two traineeships for students and graduates at its headquarters in London. The programme gives trainees an understanding of the Agency and its role within the activities of the European Union and provides professional experience in a working environment.

The trainee programme is aimed at university graduates at the beginning of their professional career. Applicants need to be EU nationals with an university degree (minimum Bachelor level) and must have a good knowledge of English language and of a second official EU language.

The programme search for students or graduates in Medicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology, Life Sciences or equivalent disciplines. Can also apply for it students or graduates in the field of law with an interest in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs, as well as candidates with interest, experience or studies related to the fields of human resources, finance, communications, public relations, library Information and sciences. 
 
The internships European Medicines Agency in 2014 will have a minimum duration of six months, extendable up to a maximum of twelve months. The selected candidates will receive 1350 pounds per month and the reimbursement of travel expenses.
 
To apply for the trainee programme, it is necessary to submit an electronic application form via email to traineeship@ema.europa.eu before the 15 of june.
