Open to young people under 30

"Let´s start up!" is a competition for innovative ideas


The "Let´s start up!" contest give to young people under 30 the possibility to present any business idea they would like to develop. The winners will have the opportunity to present the proposal to an audience of professionals and potential investors.

Every young person with an innovative business idea can submit it at “Let’s start up!”. The winners will participate in a week of workshops and meetings and will have the opportunity to show their project in Milan in front of University Professors, professionals and potential investors with international visibility. 
 
It is possible to join the competition individually or in groups, but at least one of the participant must meet one of the following requirements: 
  • To be or have been a student in international mobility. 
  • To be or have been a student at a foreign university, of Europe or abroad. 
  • To be, or have been associated ESN - Erasmus Student Network.
 Participants can submit their ideas on the website until June 19th. By tha 30th of June the jury will communicate the results via email to the four finalists who will have to be in Milan for the final event. At the end of July, the winners will be invited to Milan in order to join the “Italian week”. This event, that will take place from July 21st to July 27th, consists in a week of workshops, labs and meetings with startuppers and investors.

The "italian week" will be divided in one day of training at the Microsoft Innovation Campus in Milan, three days of training about the Business Model Canvas, the market analysis and how to attract investors, half-a-day of  lab in order to discover most innovative technologies and the final event, when finalists will show their idea to the jury.
 
Furthermore the two best business proposals will win a scholarship for a course in Brisbane (Austalia).
Winners can choose one of the following courses: Certificate IV in Frontline Management, Diploma in Human Resources Management, Diploma of Management, Diploma of Marketing, Advance Diploma of Management (Human Resources), Advanced Diploma of Management and Advanced Diploma of Marketing.
