Film series to mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camps
Europe is commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camps, the last of which, Bergen-Belsen, was liberated in April 1945. The films will be shown between Tuesday 21 April and Wednesday 13 May from 6:00 pm at the European Parliament
Europe is commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camps, the last of which, Bergen-Belsen, was liberated in April 1945. As well as an information event on Friday 24 April, the European Parliament Office, in cooperation with the supporting embassies is also screening a series of five films related to this tragic episode in European history.
The films will be shown between Tuesday 21 April and Wednesday 13 May from 6:00 pm at the European Parliament Office, 43 Molesworth Street, Dublin 2. Attendance free.

7 May at 6:00 pm: “The Ninth Day” (in co-operation with the Embassy of Germany)
12 May at 6:00 pm : “The Boxer and Death” (in co-operation with Embassy of Slovakia)
13 May at 6:00 pm : “Hannah Arendt” (in co-operation with the German Embassy)
