List of Best Global Brands from Interbrand

Apple is the most valuable company in the world


New prize for Apple and have lost count of how many have received in recent years. This time the Cupertino-based company´s first touch repeat as classified in the list of Best Global Brands from Interbrand. This list ranks the biggest brands in the world and, like last year, Apple has secured the first position with significant growth in brand value.

Specifically, the Apple brand has a value of 118.863 billion dollars, an increase of 21% compared to last year. Secondly find Google, Mountain View brand reaches a value of 107.439 billion with a growth of 15%. The third highest ranked brand is, of course, Coca Cola with a value of 81.563 billion dollars, a stark contrast to the leading brands.

If we continue down the list we see other popular brands. IBM ranked fourth with a value of $ 72.244 billion, a decrease of 8% compared to last year. Microsoft is ranked fifth with a value that has grown by 3% and now amounts to 61.154 billion dollars. The sixth classified may be unknown to many, this is General Electric, a conglomerate of USA which operates in many different sectors, reaching a value of 45,480 million. Samsung, Apple´s closest rival at present, we are in seventh place with a brand value of 45.462 billion dollars.

The list goes on and extends right up to the No. 100 brands in nearly 100 worldwide and among which are companies from virtually all sectors: food, technology, entertainment, cars, fashion, drinks and more.
